The pressure in the controlled line has an effect on the diaphragm which opens and closes

It can be applied in various ways depending on the installation sequence in accordance with the other devices,

and it must be performed by the following tests.

Excessive pressure test : If connecting excess pressure to connection A or B, it must be ventilated via connection C or D.

Negative pressure test : If connecting negative pressure to connection C or D, it must be ventilated via connection A or B.

Differential pressure test : If connecting the higher pressure to connection A or B, remaining connections must be plugged.

■ INSTALLATION

1. Warning

  - Select a product based on the operating pressure depending on the model specifications table 

     in this manual before installation.

  - All the gas supply must be shut off before installation.

  - Make sure that the pipeline is free from impurities and vibration before installation.

  - Caution to prevent ignition of hazardous atmospheres turn off power before opening.

  - Close the cover tightly before operation.

  - Function and holding tests must be carried out after installation.

 

 

2. Installation Location

  - Installs in a standard installation position presented in this manual

  - Change of the switching point may occur if installation position differs from standard.

 

 

■ ADJUSTMENT

1. Remove the transparent cover by meaning of across screwdriver.

2. Turn the yellow range scale adjustable knob to achieve the nominal pressure worth.

3. The differential pressure acts on the micro switch via the diaphragm against the force of the adjusting spring.

Solenoid regulator HGB series is designed to control the flow of air or gas of high temperature (Max. 400 ℃) in the combustion process

and to achieve the right angle to the butterfly valve. The solenoid coil is designed to operate by converting the alternating current to the direct current and the operation is stable. Opening and closing is done more quickly than Electric Butterfly Valve. (Within 1 second)

     - Be careful to follow always the direction of gas flow indicated by the arrow on the governor.

     - Use proper tools only and avoid overtightening.  

     - Make sure all gaskets are used properly.

     - Please be sure protective measures to prevent easy access to the facilities.

     - After installation, function and leaking tests must be carried out.

     - Perform maintenance must be done at least once a year.

     - A gas filter should be always installed upstream and Filter mesh must be made of metal.

■ EXCHANGE FILTER CARTRIDGE 

In order to maintain the capacity of the filter, filter cartridge must be replaced once the at least one year.

Even if not a year, if pressure difference between the two sides of the filter increased more than 50% 

  depending on the fluid, it must be replaced.

 

 

■ INSTALLATION 

Filters should be installed in vertical or horizontal piping.

The housing cover should be detachable at the side so that no dirt gets into the housing during maintenance.


 

■ ATTENTION

All installation/maintenance work must be carried out by skilled staff. Always check that the system is gas-tight after installation. 

Failure to follow this manual can result in dangerous situations or damage to the product.

 

 

■ INSTALLATION 

1. Warning

The gas supply must be shut off before installation.

Do not remove the plugs before installation.

During installation take care not to allow debris or scraps of metal to enter the device.

The arrow on filter housing must be matched to gas flow direction.

 

2. Installation Location

Installs in a position to remove the lid for Inspection, cleaning or change filtering net.

It should be installed at least 30mm away from hot objects or wall.

 

3. Threaded connections

overlong threads may damage the body of the device when screwed into place.

 

4. Flanged connections

The inlet and outlet counter flanges are perfectly parallel to avoid unnecessary mechanical stresses on the 

   body of the device.

Also calculate the space needed to fit the seal. After placing a gasket between the filter and the flange, fix the filter.

  It can fill some lubricant (Grease), if necessary.

 

 

■ MAINTENANCE

If pressure difference has increased by 50% compared to new filtering net. 

Please replace it with a filtering net at least once a year.

 

 

■ EXCHANGE FILTER CARTRIDGEE

1. The gas supply must be shut off before installation.

2. Make sure that there is no pressurised gas inside the device before remove cover.

3. Unscrew the fixing screws and disassemble the filtering net.

4. Re-assemble filtering net in the original position checking that it is properly positioned in the guides and 

   check that it does not prevent assembly of the cover.

5. After installation, perform leak test. (Soapy water test)

■ TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

  - HDG Series solenoid valves are fast opening single-stage valves directly act as 

     the power held within one second, normally closed.

  - If the power supply is shut off, the valve rapidly closes, interrupting the flow of gas. (within 1 second)

  - This is suitable for air or gas blocking and releasing controls, required in gas power burners, 

     atmospheric gas boilers, industrial kilns and other gas consuming appliances.

  SAVING ENERGY

            : HDG-EX 2040 / 2050 / 2050F / 2065F / 2080F / 2100F 

              · The starting power is being supplied to the solenoid coil and after 20 seconds it is down to 40% 

                        power to operate the solenoid coil, saving electricity.

              · Keeping the temperature of the coil below 55 ℃ can prolong the lifetime of the product.
              · If problems occur in the operation of the solenoid coil it must be immediately exchanged. 

 

■ ATTENTION

■ INSTALLATION

           during the design of the system when the valve is installed

  - Shut off the air/gas supply at the main manual shut-off valve and disconnect electrical power to the valve

            before proceeding with installation or servicing.

  - Before installation, ake sure that the pipeline is free from impurities and vibration-free. 

  - Solenoid surface may be hot. Do not touch it with bare hands.

  - The filter must be installed upstream of the solenoid valve for proper operation.

  - Avoid excessive quantities of sealing agent which could enter in the valve.

  - Use proper tools only and avoid overtightening.

  - Make sure all gaskets are used properly.

  - Please be sure protective measures to prevent easy access to the facilities.

  - If you do not use the Rated voltage products can cause serious malfunction. 

  - After installation, function and leaking tests must be carried out.

  - Perform maintenance must be done at least once a year.

 

2. Installation Location

  - Valve may be mounted with coil in horizontal or vertical position, not upside down.

  - A gas filter should be always installed upstream the valve.

  - Ensure that installing area is protected from rain or moisture and sunlight.

  - It may cause the heat to the coil according to the installation environment.

■ TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

 

  - HGSO series solenoid valve connected to the gas leak detector or alarm signals for the presence of 

    carbon monoxide, is suitable to perform locking operations on the gas line.

  - While electricity is not flowing, the gas passage is opened by pulling manually reset.

  - Because of an electrical signal from a gas leak detector, current flows in the coil and

    the coil pull a support of shutter to block the flow of gas.

  - The supports is removed, the shutter close the gas passage quickly. (within 1 second)

  - If energizing of the sensor persists bacause of the presence of gas,

     the valve remains under power and does not allow reset.

  - When the cause for locking have been eliminated, valve must be opened manually

  - ​HGS series is normally installed downstream a manual shut-off valve and upstream of the gas regulating train.

■ TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

HDGS Series solenoid valves(the Slow Opening and Fast Closing Type) open slowly 

  (≦10 seconds) as the power held within one second, normally closed.

If the power supply is shut off, the valve rapidly closes, interrupting the gas flow. (within 1 second)

This product is equipped with ‘The Fast Opening and Fast Closing Solenoid Valve’ downstream of

   the gas burner. When power is applied, the valve is slowly opened(within 10 seconds) to adjust the 

   heating power of the burner, minimizing risk.

When the coil is powered, the valve opens slowly because of the hydraulic brake.

The rapid stroke may be adjusted using the regulating screw on the top to adjust the initial gas flow.

Main flow and opening time can be adjusted also.

If the power supply is shut off, the valve rapidly closes, interrupting the gas flow.

This kind of valve is normally installed as safety and regulating device in gas trains, for industrial

  applications and gas firing systems.

SAVING ENERGY

           : HDGS 2040 / 2050 / 2050F / 2065F / 2080F / 2100F

​           · The starting power is being supplied to the solenoid coil and after 20 seconds,

                     it is down to 40% power to operate the solenoid coil to save electricity.

           ·​ Because of maintaining the temperature of the coil below 55 ℃, 

                     ​it can also extend the lifetime of the product.

           · Signal lamps are on the front terminal box. If the starting power is applied the red lamp is turn on.

                     And red lamp is reduced to 40% of operating power is changed to green after 20seconds.

           · When an error occurs in the operation of the solenoid coils,

                     they are designed so that the red warning light turns on and the power turns off. 

           · If problems occur in the operation of the solenoid coil, it must be immediately changed.

  ATTENTION WHEN ADJUSTING THE FLOW RATE

Because this product is sensitive, it operate normally  

             when the voltage of the input voltage is greater than 90% of rated voltage valve.

Turn off the solenoid valve and make sure the valve is closed.

When the screws are tightened loosely, there is risk of a gas leakage accident.

This product is shipped completely open at the factory.

Make sure to check the pressure and the flow direction of the normal gas before operating the unit.

■ HOW TO ADJUST THE FLOW RATE

1. Loosen by turning only the two pan head screws 2 wheels. 

           (You may have one individual round head screws, depending on the model.)

         Socket flat head screws is painted red sealing paint must never loose.

2. This product is reduces the flow rate of the valve by turning the hydraulic brake clockwise

            and increases the flow rate of the valve turning counter-clockwise.

3. Tighten screws when the flow rate adjustment is complete.

 

■ HOW TO ADJUST THE OPENING RATE

1. Loosen the screw on the cap and remove it.

2. 1st opening rate control (Use a flathead screwdriver)

                 : Turning the screw in the ‘a’ direction (positive clock) makes it slower

                   and turning the screw in the ‘b’ direction (counterclockwise) makes it faster 1st opening rate.

3. 2nd opening rate fine control (Use a flathead screwdriver)

                 : If it fails to satisfy the opening rate adjustments, carry out fine-tuning when needed.

                   Turning the screw in the ‘c’ direction (positive clock) make slower

                   and turning the screw in the ‘d’ direction(counterclockwise)  faster 2nd opening rate. 

4. When the adjustment is complete, place the cap and tighten the screws.
