■ TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

 

The HGT is a mechanically activated switch for monitoring the position of the valve plate.

The product can be mounted to the following products.

      · HDG / HDG-EX

      · HDGS / HDGS-EX

      · HGS / HGSO

      · HGD

      · HGRB

The compact, robust and functional design permits a simple and quick installation, and it is essentially easy       maintenance .

All components are designed to withstand mechanical and chemical stresses present in a typical installation.

■ ATTENTION

All installation/maintenance work must be carried out by skilled staff. Always check that the system is gas-tight after installation. 

Failure to follow this manual can result in dangerous situations or damage to the product.

 

■ INSTALLATION

1. Warning

  - For proper and safe operation and long service life of the valve, consider the following recommendations      

    of the valve during the design of the system when the valve is installed

      · Rated voltage and current       

      · The degree of protection vessel

      · Dimensions of tolerance parallel thread

      · Attachment Method

      · The environment       

      · Pull method 

      · Location inlet section          

      · Using leased lines

  - Shut off the air/gas supply at the main manual

    shut-off valve and disconnect electrical power to the valve before proceeding with installation or servicing.

  - Before installation, ake sure that the pipeline is free from impurities and vibration-free.

  - Make sure all gaskets are used properly.

  - Please be sure protective measures to prevent easy access to the facilities.

  - If you do not use the Rated voltage products can cause serious malfunction. 

  - After installation, function and leaking tests must be carried out.

  - Perform maintenance must be done at least once a year.

 

2. Installation Location

  - Ensure that installing area is protected from rain or moisture and sunlight.

If any flammable materials are around, never open.

Make sure that the power is completely shut off.

[Figure 4]. Insert a screwdriver into the screw hole of the open differential pressure regulation 

and pressure ranges, such as turning the screw to adjust the pressure.

 

     - After pressure adjustment,

       be sure to close the lid of the compartment and tighten the cap of screw for the explosion-proof features.

 

 

 

                          

1. Turn the pressure range adjusting screw to suit the 

   maximum pressure required.

 

2. Turn the differential pressure adjusting screw to suit 

   the needs of differential pressure 


3. While operating within a set pressure range, it will be 

  ON state  if it reaches the set differential pressure.

■ INSTALLATION

1. Warning

  - Select a product based on the operating pressure,depending on the model specifications table in

     this manual before installation.

  - All the gas supply must be shut off before installation.

  - Make sure that the pipeline is free from impurities and vibration-free before installation.

  - Only the "Pressure adjusting screw" and "Differential pressure adjusting screw" can be adjusted.

  - Do not bend sharply when pipe connections occur.

  - Keep the line length slightly longer to prevent vibration.

  - Before opening be aware of risks of dangerous ignition. 

  - Close the cover tightly before operating.

  - Function and holding tests must be carried out after installation.

  - When installing to ammonia system, please contact us.

 

 

2. Installation Location

  - This product can be installed in any position.

 

 

■ ADJUSTMENT

Before connecting the pipe, adjust setting value first.

FEATURES

The paddle type SPDT HFS series are designed to provide excellent performance where accuracy, reliability, 

   and rugged constructiuon are required in liquid flow lines carrying water for any fiuid neither harmful to 

   brass and prosphor bronze nor classified as a hazaardous fluids.

They can be wired to close one circuit and open the other circuit when liquid flow either exceeds or drops 

   below the adjusted flow rate.

The HFS series are recommended for liquid pressure and temperature as mentioned below and must not be 

   used on fluid bellow 0℃

These series may be used on liquids with high salt or chlorine content but is not for use in hazardous atmospheres.

Flow switches are designed for use only as operating controls.

Since control failure can cause personal injury or property damage, users should use the monitoring system to
